NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Nashville Public Schools is opening its doors to job seekers twice this October. The district's Talent Tuesday recruiting sessions land on Tuesday, Oct. 6 and Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Metro Schools Support Hub on Bransford Avenue, where the hiring team talks through open teaching, support and transportation jobs face to face.

One of Davidson County's biggest employers, serving more than 81,000 students, is holding in-person hiring sessions on the first and third Tuesday of every month.

What Talent Tuesday Is

Talent Tuesday is the district's standing open house for would-be employees. According to the MNPS hiring events calendar, the Talent Acquisition team holds these in-person sessions every first and third Tuesday of the month at the Support Hub, just off I-65 near Berry Hill. The September sessions ran on that schedule, and October's first and third Tuesdays fall on the 6th and the 20th.

The point is simple: sit down with a recruiter, learn which positions are open and get help with the application, which runs through the district's online portal. If you've been stuck on a step or aren't sure which job class fits your background, this is the place to ask.

One honest caveat. As of this writing, the district's calendar lists the recurring schedule but hadn't yet posted individual October entries. Call (615) 259-INFO or check the calendar that week before you drive over. Both dates also sit outside MNPS fall break, which runs Oct. 12–16.

MNPS says it wants to hear from experienced educators, new teachers, bus drivers, substitutes, support employees and career changers alike.
