✅ Pre-Registration Is the Catch

Goodwill's own event listing is plain about it: participants must pre-register, either by visiting their closest Goodwill Career Solutions center or by calling (615) 742-4151. The listing also links an online registration form. Do it this week rather than the night before, so you have time to ask which employers have signed on and what kinds of roles they're bringing.

Goodwill hasn't published the employer roster, and it hasn't said who is or isn't eligible. If you have a question about either, call. The toll-free line is 1-800-545-9231, and Career Solutions staff answer weekdays.

📋 How to Show Up Ready

Goodwill's general job-fair guidance asks attendees to bring several copies of a resume, a valid ID, and any certifications that matter for the work you want: a forklift card, a CNA license, a food handler card, a CDL. With two hours and ten-plus tables, the people who get the most out of the morning arrive near 10:00 AM with a one-sentence answer to "what are you looking for?"

  • Several printed resumes, current through this fall
  • A valid photo ID
  • Copies of licenses and certifications
  • Your availability, including nights and weekends if you can work them
  • Clothes you'd wear to a second interview

No resume yet? That's what Goodwill Career Solutions does year-round. Ask for help with one when you call to register.

🗓️ Can't Make November 10?

Different event, different town, same organizer. Goodwill runs a monthly job fair in Mt. Juliet on the third Tuesday, 10:00 AM to noon, at its Mt. Juliet Career Solutions center on Providence Parkway. The next two dates are Tuesday, October 20 and Tuesday, November 17, each with a rotating lineup of employers. Goodwill's listing gives two slightly different versions of the street name, so confirm the address before you go by calling (615) 288-2389.

Back at the Opportunity Center, Goodwill has another Nashville job fair on the calendar for Tuesday, December 8, from 9:00 AM to noon. For everything else on the Middle Tennessee calendar, our fall job fair guide stays current.
